Comments:
I just missed finding this species for years. Then I located two of these inside Croatan National Forest in Craven Co during August of 2002. When we returned to the same area in 2003, Byssus Skippers were found at about every stop we made!

The top photo was taken in Croatan National Forest in Craven Co., NC on August 24, 2002. The center photo was taken in Carteret Co, NC on August 24, 2003. The bottom photo was taken in Craven Co., NC on August 24, 2003.
