Similar Species:

Common Roadside-Skipper

Habitat:
Dry longleaf pines and scrub oak sandhills, savannas and roadsides in these type of habitats.

Range/Abundance:
Rare to very rare in the coastal plain and sandhills. Not recorded in WV.

Flight Period:
Adults fly from early April until mid September in two or three broods with gaps between broods.

Larval Host Plants:
Unknown.

Comments:
This species is very rare and likely overlooked because of its very small size. Also hard to tell from the Common Roadside-Skipper
