The single record in NC was on October 07, 2000 by Harry LeGrand.

I have found second or third brood female Zarucco Duskywings with pale hindwing fringes that took a great deal of study to separate them from Funereal Duskywing.

The top photo was taken at the NABA International Butterfly Park in Mission, TX on December 07, 2004. The second photo was taken in Hidalgo Co., TX on December 08 2004. The bottom photo was provided by Robert Grosek.
