Cassius Blue


Habitat:
Open areas and disturbed areas.

Range/Abundance:
Stray or accidental with only one recent record along the New River in Radford, VA.

Flight Period:
Adults fly from summer into fall if they were to find their way into the region.

Larval Host Plants:
A wide variety of legumes.

Comments:
You will probably never see this rare western stray in the region. Words I'll likely eat someday :-).
