Green Commas are very hard to find in the region. The best known location is Mt. Mitchell State Park. I have tried many times to find this species and have failed each time.

The first and second photos are from western Canada and were taken by Derrick Marven. The third and fourth photos were taken at Mt. Mitchell on August 12, 2000 by Bruce Grimes.
